This is a recruiting event! We encourage scouts in the pack to bring friends or family who want to learn about the scouting program and might be interested in joining our pack. Recruiter patches can be earned by scouts whose friends sign up!
Scouts (and accompanying friends or guests) will need to purchase and launch their own rockets. Rockets can be purchased online, at Hobby Lobby, or Hobby Town near Town Center Mall in Kennesaw. Please see your den leader if you have questions about what rockets are appropriate. Please bring a few extra engines to launch more than once.
We also recommend only using "A" or "B" boosters since the higher power ones tend to float off and never be seen again. Many of the rocket kits require some basic assembly work prior to your arrival at rocket launch so please make sure you check out your individual kit's instructions.
